Working Details:  An electric eye is mounted to the front of the header's wire straightener body. This eye can detect when the height of the coil begins to become reduced.  As the coil turns and the strands deplete, the eye loses contact with the top of the wire coil, therefore sending a signal which activates the PLC.  A command is given to the hydraulic scissor lift to begin inching upward until the top of the coil is once again in the electric eye's line of sight.  Once the presence of the coil is once again regognized, the signal and actuator halts.

Bear in mind, the bushing turnstile is manufactured with a very close degree of accuracy.  This high quality machining produces a very well balanced stand allowing it to rotate with the greatest of ease.
